It would have been better if they actually would have gotten away with their senseless theft. There hopefully, would have been no damage and your insurance would have possibly coughed up enough for a nice upgrade on the wheels and tires. Who steals stock rims? For your sake I hope you never find out who did it because then you'll be looking at jail time...at least that would be the case for me haha. Just try to let it go...you being mad really is only hurting yourself. Your probably like shut the hell up when i say that but I am speaking from experience and I think my story might make you feel better haha.
OK, I sold my 7 this fall...it was pretty much perfect. I used that money and a lot of my savings to buy an 04 lincoln LS that was nearly brand new. At the time I also moved into a huge apartment complex. Since getting the car in early December it has been vandalized 4 times. There are some section 8 people living in my complex so I'm assuming its them since I have no problems with anyone and on top of that only a handful of people actually know I live here since I just moved in. The first vandalism took out both my mirrors and put some dents in the doors. The insurance covered $1680 and I was left with $500. So I had that fixed...then one morning I came out to see 4 tires slashed...how fun. I decided to fix that one out of my pocket because it was only 2 weeks later and I don't want to get dropped by my insurance. Since that was fixed my car has been keyed twice. So that brings us up to date. I try to not get mad about it because really what is that going to get me? But with that said...If I ever do find out who is doing this I will be putting the really big trunk in my car to some good use. I don't really know what to do about the situation. I still haven't called my insurance about the key marks and I'm not sure if I am going to or not...It actually makes no sense to call them now because this might not be over anyway. Now I park about a quarter mile away in a different parking lot....thank God its starting to get a little warmer around here but its still not a fun walk everytime I need to use my car. The only thing I can think to do is to fix the car and sell it. Not really my favorite option but I don't know if I have a choice. So don't cry about your one stinkin vandalism haha just kidding.

Ah crap man. That truely sucks. Me and my wife used to drive up to Arlington Heights about a mile from the race track all the time. Glad that never happened to us...

I also was kinda thinking of getting rid of the lock on the stock wheels, figuring who would bother... Totally changed my mind.

Have you made a police report? Find out the kids? Someone at the party probably knew who they were if they were local?

I'm real sorry to hear that man. I have one thing to say tho...

HUNT

THEM

DOWN.

Doesn't matter how long it takes, I'd keep at it until I got 'em...at which point...well lets just say viewer discretion would be advised

well todays been a long day, i got the pics, did a lil sidework on the car while i was supposed to be working....gotta love autozone. The worst damage looks like its to the sway bar and bracket. It looks all screwed up. Tie rod is probably bad since boot is all torn to ****. I have to REPAINT my calipers now cause they got all gashed up. Control arm has a nice gash now that the sway bar is rubbing against it.

*sigh*
now if only i could find my camera cord for the PC. And i know when ppl see the pics they are gunna be like that aint **** or it coulda been worse yada yada...but this IS bad period anyway you look at it. Having a wheel fall completley off while moving is a HORRIBLE thing!

Well at least you still have the car. It coulda been alot worse. You could have come outside to an empty parking space.

Sucks man, I hope you find out who they were.

looks like it was time for some beefier sway bar brackets, but i can feel your pain on the damage, it may not seem like a lot from pics or other peeps, but if it was perfect to begin with, anything that happens is like a needle thru your heart...trust me i know
