Which one is the AC RELAY ON? I want to run my fans all the time without the aircondi

Hey Bros, I was wondering how I can run my fans all the time without using the Air Conditioner, somebody suggested to remove the Ac Relay which side of engine bay is it on?, does that help to keep the fans running all the time? If not what other ways can I keep the fans running all the time, without using the Ac. I dont want to robb horsepower and burn alot of gas. I have noticed that with the fans running with the ac on, my water temp stays at 180F.

Or you can pull the A/C fuse. That way, you can control the radiator fans anytime by using the blower and A/C button. But the downside is that you wont have A/C anymore. And you'll get VERY HOT in the summer when driving.

Chiggedy-Check it out, Homeballs :

The a/c relay is located in a relay box (about 9x2 inches rectangular) near the center front of the engine bay (vicinity between the headlights). I can't remember the exact stock location; mine sits below the ast and between the ast and ic duct (look in the picture in my sig to get a general idea). There's a schematic on the box showing you which relay is which; the a/c one is the second from the bottom.

Once you remove it, to run your fans, hit the a/c button and put your fan setting on 4 (high). The a/c compressor won't engage. Voila! Your own "fan mod" without actually running the a/c. Carry the relay in the car so you can switch back and forth as desired.

Any Questions?

Between the air pump relay and fuel pump relay.

I removed the AC fuse from the rectangular box, so now when i press the AC Button and set the fan to 4 I can speed the fans and keep them running without the Ac correct? so now I wont be losing horsepower and gasoline right?

I actually went out to the garage and copied this bullshit down for you

On the box it has a bunch of little squares with the following information:

radio relay

Tns relay

(retra relay)

air cond relay

fuel pump relay

Go look under the hood homeskillet! Can't miss it!

But remember, with your fans running all the time, your alternator will be taxed more...

If you have the stock catalytic converter AND an air pump, then run both. You don't want your catalytic converter clogged. Go ahead and put the fuse back in.

Yes, that was indeed a joke, my famished little buddy

2 questions for ya:

(1) When the hell are you coming back to Dallas?

(2) Do you mean "Tidal Wave" under your avatar, or is that some inside joke
