Which one?
ok, right now my car is completely stock. I want to keep it under or right around 300hp because this is my daily-driver. I have plans for efini turbos, y-pipe, new downpipe, exhaust, etc. My question is about the new intercooler. I think keeping the car cool is a big factor in reliability. I've been considering the GReddy replacement stock mount, a 2 row front mount, or even a v-mount.
Would a v-mount be an overkill for an engine under 300hp? I know a FMIC can sometimes cause overheating, so would an improved SMIC cool it sufficiently? And how much of a hp difference is there between the FMIC and aftermarket SMIC? Thanks for any info/suggestions.
PS. I searched, but didn't really find any comparisons.
