Importing Jap. RX7
Does anyone know about importing a Japanese Rx-7 into the US? Are there any companies that can convert it to US standards, and how much would it cost?
Oh, And please don't ask the usual question "Why don't you get one here?" It's because I want one from over there. Simple.
Any info would help me out a lot.

agree 100% with zmarko. u have to pay the import tax. then like 10gs to convert it to american standards, then get a vin # and it goes on and on. its like buying a skyline, thats why they are so expensive over here.

Agree. Even if you really wanted to. It's pretty hard to get it legalized since they already made that model in the country. They could see imorting things like skylines because we don't have them here. They don't see the sense in importing a car we already sold here.
