OMP removal

I am going to block off my OMP because it has gone bad. Just when I finish everything i have been doing. But I have read that you need to run a premix. How much is the premix (amount) and what brand would you use.

Ok I read about every post on here last night about premix and decided to go with the Marvel Mystery Oil, but still don't know how much to use. Most these guys I have seen still have the OMP and use the 4 oz. per fill-up. Would that mean I need more? And if so how much?

That's a LOT of premix IMO. I use 4 oz. per 10 gallons.

Uhh, call me dumb but does that mean that if the OMP has gone bad, I an simply take it off. I don't need that?

Cool, I removed so much useless junk on that car, one more thing I don't have to worry about!

Now, what I need to know is where to find the OMP... I've never touched that since I got the car. I tried looking in the shop manual but I'm not that good with drawings, it looks like that thing close to the DP/O2 sensor... is it?

IT is on the right side of the front motor cover. Just follow the oil metering lines down to it . How easy is that to think of .

I'm sorry if I don't know where the oil metering lines are... I'm not worthy of this world

Metering lines run up the front cover and across the top of the motor. They then go under the solnoid rack to the oil injection nozzles. The line shave a black sheet near the pump but are clear on top mof the motor.
