OMP lines need to be replaced
any insight on replacing the OMP lines. after all this time it looks like this was the minor culprit that was leaking, but it was hidden from my oil pan leak that had been fixed. i see that they hide under the rats nest(what fun this is going to be) but i am wondering if anyone has had to do this or knows of something detailed to help me through it. the last time the rats nest was off i did the silicon hoses. i dont really want this headache again, but im in denial as i havent driven my car for well over a month and a half looking for oil leaks.

cause there is nothing wrong with the OMP. $60.00 in parts to worry about always premixing just seems like a bit too much of hassle. not saying that i wont one day, but i also thought that you had to have a haltech or something to get rid of the OMP. any advantages to removing the OMP though?

Sorry I haven't sent you any more pics Kris. I've been really busy at work and the holidays are hitting now.
You should be able to get the job done by removing the UIM and the ACV up top. Take the coil pack out, unbolt the sol. rack to get some "wiggle room" up there. I think you will also want to remove the alternator, air pump, and primary turbo inlet elbow to get the lines down to the OMP.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions when you get in there. Good luck!
