CA Omg, my Fd just got hit.

I just got this car for exactly 16 DAYS! Some irresponsible drunk old vietnamese guy, who lives ontop of my apartment, just reverse in the parking lot and hit my FD in the front bumper, crack it, meanwhile also broke my passenger re-amemiya headlight. If someone hadn't run into my house to tell me my car was hit, that old man would have just pretend nothing happen. In addition, he hit two other cars, a lexus 04 gs460 and a 09 bmw 335i.

be thankful those are easy fixes....

quite a few FD's mine included had hit and runs done on our FD's with MUCH worse damage.

IMO this is minor

Based on how much we love our cars they require full coverage insurance IMO hope you have that. In my experience our cars are more prone to get hit by stupid drivers, I guess their low stance makes them hard to see... Shoot my car has been hit 4 ******* times just being parked...

That really sucks man no luck with your new car eh? Well 3 positives I can see:

1) easily repairable as in not totalled (your be surprised how easily these cars get totalled by insurance companies)

2) You know who did it thus you aren't going to get the shaft

3) That is not an RE-Amemiya headlight. It's evo-r easily replaceable and not expensive.

That sucks man. I know exactly how you feel. I had my FD down for upgrades for over a year and the second day I had it on the road it got totalled by a teen who stole his dads rental ford focus for a day of fwd drifting!!

Should be easy enough to repair it looks like. Hopefully you have insurance!

Luckily mine hasn't been hit, at least while I've owned it. Then again it hasn't left the garage in a year haha.

Thank you everyone. And again, thanks for the info on the light Montego. The person who hit my car admit it was there fault, since we are neighbors, he is insure through Allstate. I'm bringing my car into an Allstate inspection shop on Weds. morning, they will estimate how much to fix my car.

Perhaps now you can get a nice 99 spec OEM bumer instead of that junk fiberglass bumper and get some OEM pop-ups as well.

Damn, sorry to hear.

My FD got hit 5 years ago at a gas station. Stupid girl was reversing and she hit the driver side of the rear bumper.

I was watching from the station mini mart and i saw the whole thing. I saw her backing up but i thought she was looking but she was on the phone and then i saw my car "buckle". So i knew she hit it.

I went out there and she acted like nothing happened. She was like, "do you know where theres an ATM??"

Im like WTF idk but you just hit my car!!!

I got like 300 bucks out of it but there was no real damage. Just a paint scuff thats still there. Not noticeable from far away but up close, definitely.

I want to get a paintjob for the car anyway. Thats in the future.

Sorry for your trouble man. As others have said, at least it's not too bad.

Apartment + FD = TROUBLE

FD's deserve a garage & a daily driven car. Otherwise, the elemental risk is much greater.

Good luck getting her fixed.

LOL you remember that story right??

Yeah i guess you can say karma. But i parked at that spot for soo long back then, it was just my time to pay the price i guess.

I still got money out of it but idk, i have done alot more worse things in life without the consequence yet lol

Wish me luck
