Abel didn't have the car on kill for that run. The car hooked a 1.00 60ft so the ET was going to be a great run. The reason why he didn't come back out was because he believes there is a broken side seal. He's been having problems with the two step breaking the side seals and turbo with the new setup in the RX-8.

yes Abel did break after that pass, he better step up his game because for qualifying he ran like a mid 8 and barely made it for pro class, so he is not being consistent, if he dont step up he will be playing around with his sponsorship

That's an awesome time to run, especially considering he's still sorting out issues and that's his first real fast trip down the strip! Let's just wait and see how fast and consistant he can get this beast going.
