OMG.. did i blow my motor? All i did was do the Damian boost setup and pettit fan sw

Hello All,

Tonight I installed the pettit fan switch and performed the "damian boost setup" with the hallman boost controller.

As soon as i started the car it idled like crap and when i tried giving it some gas during a test drive it cut off on me.

I bypassed the wastegate control and left the nipples on the selonid alone, without any caps. Could this be a reason why it idles rough?

I thought leaving the nipples on the solenoid alone would be ok.

Please help. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

btw, my car was running great before the procedure...

Did you remove your UIM to install the FC fan switch? Did you cover the intake runners so nothing could fall in?

As stated check the line to the MAP sensor. Double check all the connectors... TPS plugged in?

You can't blow your motor with it just idling, I had this same problem when I first put on my boost controller but right now I can't remember how I fixed it, I know that I did leave off a vacuum line somewhere so check everything over.

Sounds like you left a vacuum line disconected.

Negative, this will simply lead to a high idle. Car would still run and drive normally if that was the case (unless it was something like the aforementioned MAP sensor).
