is it okay to use 3 studs w/ dp?
i'm putting a pfs dp on and i can't get the bottom back stud to go back on. it keeps hitting the bend in the dp and there seems like no way it can go back on. i was able to get the other 3 studs on easily. is this okay? thanks, nick
thanks legend. does anyone actually own the peter farrel supercars dp? when putting the nuts back on the studs i can't tighten down b/c the washer part of the nut is hitting the weld. i already grinded down the nut but there is still a gap b/t the flange and nut. nick

finally got my dp on. i was very suprised as to how easy it was to take the pre-cat off. after soaking them all the nuts and studs came out very easily. i was glad i decided to do this myself. thanks for the help rikki but since i bought it used it didn't come w/ bolts. i ended up grinding the washer part off of the bolt. i took it down to the actual hex of the bolt and they ended up going on smoothly w/o hitting the welds. thanks for the reply's, it was good to hear others had to grind the nuts or use allen nuts. thank god(or jason) this form is here. nick
