Okay, here is what I'm thinkin'...?

Here is a mock up of the exterior of my 93 touring FD.

As of now, I am not planning on installing a spoiler, seen on the mockup, but might change my mind.

Also, the actual wheels will probably be machined MB Motorinig Rev wheels, with polished lips as seen here:
instead of the 5zigen wheels as seen on the mockup.

Should I paint the door handle areas red as seen in the mock up, or leave them black?

What other changes would you make? Does she look good to you?

Leave the door handle black.

Painting it red would distract attention away from the beautiful lines of the car.

Thanks guys!

I can easily see leaving the door handle black, but as for the front lip, IMO, it should match the side skirts? I realize that a black front lip on a red FD looks very nice, but those images I've seen are of one without side and rear skirts.

Does that make a difference in your minds?

Thanks,
merc

I'd get rid of the side skirts. I think the car looks best with the stock mud flaps. Also, go with smaller fog lights

Wider wheels, ditch teh sideskirts as they disrupt the flow of the car IMO, leave the R1 chin spoiler black and lose the fog lights. In other words, goodfella's car

HA! I'm actually not big on red cars at all, but for some reason since you got the fikse's it's been one of my favorites. Of course, it doesnt hurt that you're running the same engine setup I'm planing on

Boy, those big wheels sure look nice... maybe I should reconsider getting the 18" wheels?

I repainted my front lip black again to give it a "refined" look and it sure changed the look of the car from faded black to nice and new looking again. I've heard to use truck bed liner when painting it ahh yes the wheels...my favorites. Although* white isn't my first choice in color...but hey I can't rag on him look at my car (in the sig) haha .

I dunno about going wiht a monster port, but I will definatly be using the BNRs. Porting will probably be limited to an aggressive street port.
