OK to use 15w40 oil?

OK to use 15w40 oil?
its made by quaker state for commerical engines. it says its good for diesel, turbocharged engines.
just wondering if its ok for a FD

I have been told to not use quaker state or pennsoil because they are wax base oils 15-40 does work for me in synthetic
