Ok RX7 gurus, please help with 1st turbo boost problem!

First of all I have had this car looked at by two VERY well known Rx7 shops for many hours to try to fix this problem. No luck and they have pretty much given up on it! So now I come to you for help.

Problem: 7-5-12 boost pattern
Sometimes it will not even transition to 12 at 4500rpm
(I think this is because it does not reach 8psi so it can.)
But then most of the time it does.

In 1st gear it will go up to appx. 0.5 bar (conversion?)
Then bleed down! Happens every time but only in first.

What the shops looked at:
Visually inspected all the hoses(OK)
Checked to make sure mods installed correctly(OK)
Inspected check valves(one leaking alittle, replaced, no change)
Wired wastegate(would still boost the same)
Decided that it might be an obstruction in the turbo, cracked maybe,or the manifold cracked? I am not sure about that because the car has only 49k but it is possible.

Can anyone help at all!!!!!!!
My idea is that it might be a solinold wired right?
And if I can't fix this I am thinking of going non-seq. Would doing this alleviate the problem?
Any help provided is greatly appreciated!!!!

Just go with a non-sequential setup. Most likely your problem will be solved and it's not too expensive.

Could have something to do with the charge control valve. This valve separates primary boost from dumping over into the secondary turbo section before it comes online, ie below 4500rpm. The valve is located on top of the y pupe & is normally OPEN with the engine off, you can see the rod sticking out of the actuator. Start the engine & the rod should suck into the actuator, closing the CCV. Could be a problem with the CCV actuator, the solenoid that controls it, hoses or wiring.

RPW Motorsports,

Yeah check the charge control valve, like Sidestick said.

Also, what did you mean by " Wired wastegate(would still boost the same) " What did you wire?
