OK to run with open downpipe??

Hi all, I am in the process of finishing up my car and my local exhaust man is making me a high flow cat instead of paying 4-500 for a high flow cat from a name brand company. I have the cat back and downpipe installed. Is it gonna be ok to run the car down to him like this......about 5-6 miles away? I would definatley be easy on it, but wanna make sure cause I dont have anything to put in place of the mid pipe! I do have the WG ported and a pettit unlimited ecu, but just making sure everything will be ok driving that way. Thanks!!

It'll be fine. As long as you don't hit WOT or run into a disgruntled police officer.

See if the local Harley club can give you an escort. Nobody will notice.

Oh if you can video tape it do it, I'de love to see the look on peoples faces as you drive by.

Open DP is very loud on 3rd gen twins.... I did it for fun when I installed my DP and turbo back exhaust.... I revved it up to about 3k rpm and I nearly went deaf! Just drive it easy...
