Ok I'm worried...

Ok I need you guys on this one again

I was driving last night on the highway while all of a sudden I coudln't get any power after 3k rpm...

I didn't know what it was so i kept pushing the gas to see if it was the engine dying...but after 2-3 tries i noticed that my gauge was indicating dead lean whenever I would try to boost. So it was the boost sensor that had popped off.

First question...what are the possible damage I did to my car?
Second question.... I get 17-20 inch vac, the car is still smooth but what does it mean when the engine is a bit shaky on idle...my idle varies from 750 to 900rpm and it goes sometimes up and down...and it's sometimes a bit SHAKY... the shakiness was there before the boost sensor popped off.

The shakiness is making a paranoid man out of me.

As for mods, I have a ARC intake, no name DP, SS exhaust and Blitz BOV. that's it.
Oh and I also changed spark plugs and wires recently for new ones.
Please help my worries go away

and also the gas coming from the exhaust indicated no excessive oil or coolant burning.
It's as clear as my honda civic...
however I do notice a weird rythm from the exhaust...
it goes something like this :
vrrrrrrrr pop pop vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr pop pop...everytime i would hear a pop the car would shake a bit...just a bit.
somebody?

check for a boost leak/mapsensor unplug. The rpm thing could be due to any number of factors too. I wouldn't worry about it. I solved an oscillating idle problem when I changed to a PFC. I also noticed that before the PFC different conditions of the car would cause the car to oscillate or not oscillate. Things such as adjusting the tps, spark plugs, oil change, etc.

I'm not saying it will solve yours, just that it solved mine. Your problem might not be related

My car used to shake when the idle oscillated but not violently (hard to describe) also, it was very rythmetic (sp?) without backfire pops. If its popping, you're running rich.

man same thing happen to me about 2 weeks ago. I fix the boost sensor hose and the car still ran like crap. I was worried about it. So I did a compression check came good but once I looked at the spark plugs I saw why. Changed the spark plug and reset the ECU, car runs better than it did before the hoses came off.

RELAX... Here is what you do... Get a flashlight, and try to peek under your manifold, and see which of the vacuum or boost lines that you popped off... i havent read the second page of posts, buti have seen one too many people go through this, and its a stupid vacuum line.

most likely a leaky primary injector. Mine does the exact same thing...although I know I am running a little too rich at idle. I have a PFC, but the effects are the same with a stock ecu (or any for that matter).

However, it could be as simple as replacing the spark plugs. I would highly recommend doing this if I were you. You probably almost fouled out your plugs when the map sensor popped off.

Hope that helps.
