Smile Ok I Need Help Choosing

Hey guys I need help deciding the best setup for my 93 Touring. I just bought it and the turbos are shot. I've decided to go single. HELL YA . What I need is some imput on your suggestions. This is what is already on the car:

Trust Jasma Full Exhaust ( DP , MP, Cat-Back )
Trust Turbo Timer
HKS Supersequential BOV
Custom K&N Intake
RS Akimoto Top Mount Intercooler
Mazdaspeed Radiator
Eibach Sportline Springs
Tokico Illumna 5 way shocks
Momo Rims
Momo Shift ****
stereo
Custom DuPont Chrome Illusion Chameleon Paint
( Green, Purple, Blue )

Im looking at getting the :
XS Engineering TO4E Turbo Kit
Apexi Power FC and Commander
Apexi AVC-R
Apexi AFC

So what do you think? Do I also need to improve my fuel system? How about a stock Supra Fuel Pump? Injectors ? Where should I look?

Please give me some info and your thoughts and questions.
Thanks

Why would you want to get the Apexi power FC and the Apexi AFC if they do the same thing?

They do? Im sorry. Thanks for the heads up. Right now it has the stock ECU, because the guy I bought it from sold his PFS ECU. So I can just get the Power FC and Commander for my ECU right?

You run the stock ECU w/ those mods? You should have gotten an ECU sooner as well as some fuel upgrades. Yes the PFC will work fine as your ECU but you will need a Boost Controller to run over 15lbs. At least get a larger fuel pump and probalby 1600cc secondaries and have your car tuned by someone who knows how. A mistuned car is as good as dead.

Sorry I got you confused. No I have not drove it yet. The guy I bought the car from sold the ECU after the turbos went out. The car has not been driven with the stock ECU. And for Boost Control I was looking at the AVC-R from APEXi.

Apexi makes excellent products. I don't think you will be dissapointed with any of them. I'd even look into their RX6 turbo. When my twins go out that is probably the turbo I will be buying.

Get the PFC it will also control boost. Once you get the PFC you wont need the AVCR or the AFC. Just get it tuned by a competent shop.

TURBONETICS T78 SINGLE...need I say more. If you get the Apexi Power FC you won't need the AFC or the AVC-R. The PFC will do all that for you. I would also recomend looking into Haltech and EFI Systems for ECU's

an upgraded fuel pump for your mods.
larger secondary injectors for running higher boost.
if you decide to get PowerFC, get it tuned by a shop that has the Excel SW. (XS engineering, etc)

OK thanks for all the info. I see a lot of people are using a TT supra fuel pump. Is this a good upgrade? I also found a fuel rail that replaces the secondary fuel rail and it has two Bosch 1600cc injectors ( rx7store )
for $ 399. Is this also a good upgrade? And another question about the Power FC and commander. If I get this I wont have to buy a boost controller? Or a fuel controller? Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

PS - What is a good Boost Controller? If I need one that is.

Id get the Denso fuel pump. Easy install and it will be good for as much as 500hp. The Apexi Power FC only controls boost up to 15psi (or so I'm told, I haven't bought one yet). If you are going to boost above that you need a different boost controller like AVC-R or Profec B etc.

The stock Supra TT pump is a Denso that will hold 500hp, I think that is what most shops sell us. The PFC will control boost but alot of people don't trust it and say it isn't that good. Ask the single turbo forum what the best boost controller is. I know the Profec B is good for twins but that doesn;t help you.
