well i just did my vacuum lines and put on an apex-i intake put a need precat gasket in and put a cat back exhaust on. now when im driving(remind this is an auto) and im in 2 gear i get a tick noise when the boost goes passed 7 psi. i've tried searching and all i could find was ticking noise at idle and no sound at idle just while driving around.

It could be detonating. Be careful until someone fixs it. It does not take much to blow the motor. Try replacing the fuel filter unless you just did.

What do you mean "need precat gasket"? are you saying it does not have a gasket or it's leaking?

 

i wasnt sure if it was just an exhaust leak i did a search for noise and most came up with a tick noise for a leak. its not a loud noise but it does sound like metal slaping.
