just had the guys at a great local maintenance shop clean and treat the injections system. i think all they did was run some cleaner but I'll be damned if the thing isn't faster, a noticable enough difference that my wife made a comment

I'm hoping they didn't just blast some cleaner down the TB, rev the engine, and call it good. I used to work at a tire and lube place where our "fuel injection cleaning" was exactly what I just described. I don't think it really cleaned very much and the customers had to pay about $17 for a job that cost us about 1/2 bottle of cleaner and 10 min of work!

nope it was a multi step process. I have had them do alot of maintenance for me in the past and they have always been honest and reasonably priced.

This sounds interesting I wouldn't mind grabbing a bottle and trying it out.

I just ran a bottle of 44K though and it did seem to improve some idle issues I had, but due to my boost problems I can't tell if it really helped overall performance or not.

My mechanic charges $90 for a system clean, it involved some kind of pump and I dunno what else. The 44K seems fine to me.
