ok car is having a majorly hard time starting

smells like antifreeze (or so I am told), blueish whie smoke at start up, am I fubared?

If I am I assume I need a rebuild. Opinions on getting a brand spanking new motor or rebuilding, and porting the old one? Anyone recommend a place in the NYC area other than KD. I have spoken to MVA and J&R, any others.

the car is a 93 r1 with 84k miles.

Thanks.

Sounds like your coolant seals went out. You can get a Mazda reman or have someone rebuild your engine. If you want an engine that's ported already, check out Pettit racing and Pineapple.
