Oil weight recommendation??
what up,
My friend just got a '93 rx7 TT. Well after about a month in the shop because for some reason when he hit a pot hole the tire went through the splashgaurd and burned up the wire harness...he finally got it back. My question is, tomorrow we are gonna change the oil so I was wondering what is the recommended weight/viscosity oil to use? Someone told him to use the lightest oil like 5w-20, but I did some searching on this board and I see people using 20w-50 which is a big difference. Also, whats the best brand of oil filter to use? Thanks.

I use Havoline. 20w50 in the summer, 10w30 in the winter. I would go synthetic, but with all the free Havoline I want, I'll stick with dino juice.
