Oil specks on the driveway on startup

When we start the FD in the morning it spits out specks of black gue that stick to the garage floor…

I assume this is due to the car running very rich. It only smokes for a few seconds though.

Pettit got rid of the high idle on startup. It now starts up and idles low. Could this be the problem? Was the high idle before burning off the excess fuel and oil on startup?

Anyone else have this problem?

The specks are normal. It's condensation from inside the exhaust getting mixed with the black exhaust "soot".

Hmmm,

Thanks for the response but...why doesn’t this happen to my Supra or other cars I own?

Is it a Racing Beat exhaust problem?

The Supra doesn’t even have cats and there is not one speck.

Remember...the rotary 'injects' oil into the combustion chambers. It is basically DESIGNED to 'burn oil'.

Most likely a by-product of the less than efficient combustion cycle of the rotary.

Nope. I've had it with other exhausts.
