Oil presure/temp gauge, whats best?
Absolutely go electric. IMO, anyone using a mechanical gauge for anything other than boost is asking for a bad experience.....
Defi makes excellent quality quages, but so do most gauge manufacturers. It comes down to budget, range of gauge (proper range for turbo rotary operation), and aesthetics.
I would recommend the Defi D-gauge series, unless you are getting other gauges, in which case I recommend the Defi Link series. If you would prefer an LED display (instead of a needle), I would look at Nordskog or similar products that offer both oil temp and pressure in the same gauge.
