oil pressure and some other wierd stuff

k damn it. so here is a new problem... lol! well my stock oil pressure gauge on the cluster does not get any reading at all, but everything else works fine so now, how can i tell if the gauge is faulty or if the oil pump is gone? or is it something else? How can verify this? please HELP ME! i just noticed this problem today but I didnt pay attention to the that paritculer gauge before. But say if the oil pump was not working would my engine not seize by now? oh ya one more thing i did replace my water pump and i had to remove the omp lines in order to take off the whole water pump assembly and t-stat wondering if those lines cud of caused the gauge to read incorrectly

oil pressure sender. start by cleaning the connection well. If that doesn't solve it, buy a new sender.

If you are standing on the drivers side looking into the side of the engine bay, it is facing you protruding from the engine. It is located a bit under the oil filter pedestal.

It should have an electrical wire connected to it's end.
