My oil pressure gauge is always at maximum (8) when driving, at idle it goes down a bit.

I checked the oil and it looks like there's enough...

What's could be my problem ??

I have a MotoMaster (Canadian Tire) oil filter since 2 months, but the problem just started, maybe it is too cheap ? could it be an issue?

 

That stock oil pressure gauge is a POS! Mine reads normal at warm-up, but then sometimes goes to zero, then bounces a few times, goes to maximum and back to zero. Not to be trusted! I tried cleaning out the sensor and wires, but nothing helped.
