Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can offer.

The car has no oil pressure / Smokes.

engine : Car has 75,000km on it and had a rebuild at some point because its been ported, unknown how long ago. Car has about 400whp and previous owner seems to have drove it fairly hard. Car is an import with no history on the car.


On the oil pressure gauge I have no reading and I have already installed a new sendor unit. Nothing.

When i ground the connector lead from the sendor the gauge reads as high as it will go.

I have an Aftermarket guage installed in a spacer for the oil filter it reads about 1 to 1.5 KG/CM.2 at about 4000rpm and almost zero at idle once the car starts to idle but has about .5KG/CM.2 at isle when cold.

installed another gauge in the oil sendor location and read zero there.

looked at the compressor outlet and no signs of oil there and none leaking out tailpipe. also smokes right when it's fired up, before the exhaust can burn it if oil was leaking on hot side. turbo is also fairly tight.

Ive searched all over the net for a decent oil diagram but cannot find one other than the one in the 93 manual on FD3S.net. any ideas what can be causing the low oil pressure or any diagrams test procedures.
