Oil Pressure, need help !!!!

I have a 1993 Mazda RX7 imported from japan (incase that makes any deference) when i start the beast up it starts first time, warms up well, goes well, even warms down with no problems. The problem is, the oil pressure gauge on the dash reads 0 all the time and only rises if the revs rise as a result of me placing my foot on the gas pedal, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

they are notorious for reading flat. if you are nervous get an aftermarket gague. the greddy sending unit fits directly into the stock sending unit hole. you do have oil in the car right?

try doing a search for oil pressure.

your problem commonly results from a dirty or broken sensor. Searching will uncover threads that explain how to clean the sensor.

Stock oil pressure sender is easily accessable to remove and replace.
That fixed low pressure indication.

Is the Greddy sensor compatible w/ the stock gauge? Can you just swap them out?
