oil pressure help

I have a new motor with 2,600 miles on it. At idle it's about 25 psi on the stock gauge. Under full boost itgoes above 60psi then drops to around 30psi when the second turbo kicks on then goes back up to 60psi. I was wondering if anyone else experinced this? is it normal. I use 10w30 nonsynthetic and my only mods are a dp and catback.

The stock "gauge" is fine. The stock "sensor" tends to get old/dirty and send strange readings.

Try cleaning the sensor and it's connection to see if that helps. If not, you might need to replace the sender.

who knows, What they are trying to tell you, is more than likely your oil pressure sender is dirty and is sending fubar readings, try cleaning it, its right under the oil filter

Seems ok. The oil pressure will relate to the load on the engine (i.e. higher load, higher oil pressure). The problem is, different oil weights will produce different pressures so it's hard to say that your pattern is "normal".

It's seems fairly "normal" for 10w30. The only thing that might be out of sorts is the dip during the boost transition; but to be honest, I never paid attention to my oil pressure reading during that time. The lows and peak are what's really important.
