Oil pressure gauge reads 0??

Ok this is whats going on. I took my friend on a little cruz only hit the juice 2 times and went to 80mph. When I came down to a stand still my oil pressure read near 0. But when I rev the car it comes back up to near 60, but not over. Then i let off the gas and right back to near 0. Whats going on did I blow something up? I checked the oil and it looks fine. I wasnt blowin any smoke out the hood or exhaust. Any suggestions? I got 83k on stock motor? did a seal go?

It can be hard to say. My gauge bobs and only really reads correct when the oil is cool or cold. I've read that the oil press. sending units go bad after time. Disconnecting the wire and cleaning it sometimes helps. Otherwise you can try replacing the whole unit. It might also be the spring that controls the oil pellit which can also be replaced. Unfortunately I'm not sure what your prob is but I would suggest getting an aftermarket gauge as I plan to do (but haven't just yet) I'm sure someone else here may offer more info. Sorry, that's all I've got.
