oil pressure and cold start.
oil pressure and cold start.
oil light came on last night ,so took a look at dip stick and it read low.later on i went to take it for a spin and on start up oil pressure was much higher then usual so i left it. woke up today to drive and pick up some oil and it wouldent start .it was pretty cold last night and i no they dont start to easy in cold conditions. any ideas?
Oil pressure is always higher when the oil is cold. If the oil is too thick for the temperature, then is causes increased starting drag and poor lubrication.
Get the correct oil for the temperatures in you area. Better to go synthetic.
