Oil Pressure
Oil Pressure
Is the oil pressure constant given flow restrictions???
What I mean is this.
I need to install an Oil Pressure sensor. I got an FC3S.org oil pedastal, but the existing pedastal is a complete pain in the dong to remove, due to Mazda having the unmitigated genius to use 2 philips head screws to secure the pedastal from the bottom. **** Me. Thanks for not using a hex head screw. *******.
So, I currently have an oil temp sensor mounted into the oil cooler supply line that goes down from the pedastal to the oil coolers (not the OEM line, but a CWR line that has an aluminum piece, that is where the tap is). I was wondering if I could removing the existing oil temp sensor, put a T-block in there, then attach the oil temp and oil pressure sensors.
So, would the pressure through the T be an accurate representation???
