Oil Pan R&R
Oil Pan R&R
Hey guys, quick question.
I have two 13B blocks but only one oil pan.
I am currently ready to remove the pan and oil pickup tube from the one motor and put it on the other. The only problem is that I dont really have any way to flip the motor upside down safely to do it.
I could easily tip the motor backwards and put some quilts under it and sit it upright on the flywheel. Will that hurt anything? Assuming I kind of lift it upright so I dont bend the flywheel edge.I can easily get at everything that way.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

If you can figure out how to bend a stock flywheel without a 60 ton hydraulic press, I'd like to know.
You'll be fine if you can get full access to the bottom, but a stand would be better.
