oil pan question

I have a friend, who's driving FD3S. His oil pan crack and felt off yesterday, while he was driving. (I don't really know the detail, but I'm kinda concern)

Anybody has any clue what's just happened???? ANy prevention or whatever???

Oil Pan's just dont crack and fall off for no reason what so ever - your friend driving over rough terrain or something ?

Any impact sufficient to crack an oil pan would have also done wonders to the engine mounts, and a lot of other things connected to the engine.

So much for off roading FDs

His oil pan "fell off"? There are a lot of bolts holding the oil pan to the bottom of the engine.
