Haha, that was you? I was in shock from just winning and not feeling very talkative

I was hoping you had another model car, and might want to sell it. It was worth a try

Is it just me or does anyone else find it odd that the instruction on torquing down the pan bolts is recommending a criscrossing paatern. This indicates that even application of pressure is important, yet the engine mount bolts are to be torqued to more than 10 time that of the oan bolts. Wouldn't the differences actually cause improper sealing??

So if I were going to do the repair without a gasket using silicone only, and the picture of this gasket represents the bottom of my engine, would you say this is how I need to route my silicone exactly (green line represents silicone)? If not, where should I route it exactly? Thanks everyone!

I did something like this. Green plus blue. Didn't leak since.

... and all of the bolts are either in blind (closed) holes or they go through to the outside of the engine, so none require any sealant - motor mount bolts included - right?

I'm pretty sure they are closed, but to check just feel up inside when the pan is off.
