It is not rocket science , how good are you with cars ,tools . Drop the subframe down about 6 inches, remove the pan clean everything , even the inside of the bolt holes . Reseal the pan with out a paper gasket . Replace the subframe ect.

You need to support the engine while the subframe is dropped, and motor mounts out of the car.

I recommend a new oil pan gasket from the factory, silicone sealant capable of withstanding 650 F heat (I used Versachem Type 998 from Advanced Auto Parts, it's oil-, antifreeze-, water-resistant, and sets in 10 minutes; full curing in 24 hours), and using Staff's Auto oil pan reinforcer. It's an external brace made of stainless steel. It's 0.1875 inches thick. You will need longer 10-mm and 17-mm bolts to use the brace. There are 17, 10-mm and 6, 17-mm bolts.

Contact Staff's Auto for more info on the brace @ www.staffsauto.com Cost is $145 Canadian (~$90 US). The part is non-returnable. My kit came with longer 19-mm bolts (the heads were larger than the factory 17-mm heads). I found my own longer 10-mm bolts from ACE hardware (don't recall the specs, but they are the "middle" size--think "Goldilocks & The Three Bears" LOL )

FWIW I just had my oil pan resealed @ Rx7 Store this past Saturday with the Staff's Auto oil pan brace. So far the oil pan's been DRY...
