Has any one made one themself?
If you have do you have a drawing/plan of it with measurements?
If someone has bougth the one from Gothamracing.com can you please tell me how thick it is?

damn, I have one from Gotham and it is pretty thick. I would contact Gotham for exact measurements. I will tell you one thing, I have no leaks at all and no twisty, turny anymore. I do have an ETB also. It is super nice between the NEO sythetic in the tranny and the stiffened pan and ETB, it is very stout, shifting is more precise and a ton less torgue twist. It had a big part in solving the oil pan problem. I included Gothams site to contact them. they respond quick. good luck!

Well I have been in contact with Gotham and placed an order for one of these braches. Unfortanly there was problem with money transfer because they dont accept Paypal from europe. The biggest problem is that I have waited for one monthe before they told me that..
The time has run out and now I have to ask a company here in sweden to make one for me thats why i wanted the measurements.

that sucks, I completely understand. I may not be able to help you, as mine is installed and would be near impossible to measure it exact. I hope you find someone that just purchased one to measure it up before install. Good luck.

I can try when I get home. I don't know how much access i will have to it, with my air ducting and everything. I will try as best I can, I will let you know in a couple of hours. hope that helps. I can't believe that someone does not know, or have one sitting around. They are extremely effective and everyone should have one.

Either way you need to replace stock pan bolts with some a little longer to compensate for added thickness. Maybe a major credit card would work if not the pay pal. Give a family member cash and charge it on theirs. Getting it cut to fit the pan lip and then drilling the holes seems like it may be more expensive from scratch. Good luck though.

I wanted to say it was about a fourth of an inch thick. He is right about fabbing one of these, might be more than what its worth. There are other ways of sending money to the U.S., maybe that's your best bet. good luck
I agree with you guys but it will take a while to get back the money from Paypal and shipment from USA to Sweden is not quick.

The piece is 10mm thick, and is made in the exact shape of the oilpan flange...made to sit inside the underside of the stock pan, obviously...made a bit smaller than the stock pan itself, so that the bent-down flange of the pan doesnt interfere with the brace.
This raises the engine up 10mm, and also requires 10mm longer fasteners for motor mounts and oil pan.
The one I had was far too heavy to be aluminum, and I would think aluminum would tend to flex too easily to perform as they claim the brace should.
