my oil metering pump went out and i read an article that said mazda set them up not go give enough oil to the motor for emissions reasons. the article said that if you take out the pump and reconnect the hoses without the pump and add 2 cycle oil in with your gas then the engine would run more efficient and last longer. anyone know about this and if it works?

 

premix is the way to go man.. even if you kept your OMP... Yes though the OMP isnt efficent enough for a highly modded motor.. PREMIX!!!!

 

The car will run in "limp home mode" if the OMP is not working, unless you have an upgrade ECU. I have one in great shape. If your interested send me a pm.
