oil metering pump not working
Hi guys,
I put in new oil metering lines with my swap, and reused my old oil metering pump. After running it for 20miles or so, I realised that the metering lines are still empty. But the ECU didnt throw any code, nor did it go into limp mode. I've been premixing in the mean time, but what could go wrong with the OMP mechanically?
Is there a way to jumpstart the pump or do I have to remove it and replace with a new one?
Thanks.

Are you 100% sure the lines are empty,,,,if the oil is clean its very difficult to tell,,,,,
if the oil lines are empty then you got a problem,, if im not mistaken even if the oil metering pump is broken oil still flows through the pipes (the metering unit just controls how much oil is flowing, it cant stop the flow altogether)
so i suspect you have either blocked oil injector nipples, or maybe a problem with the vacume lines which connect to the oil injectors.
The vacume pipes are designed to open up some sort of valves at the top but cant remember what exactly they do,,,(is something to do with stopping the oil from moveing back down the pipes)

if the pump/wiring is bad, "check" light is "on".unless the "check" bulb is out.
try disconnecting the two lines from the pump then start the engine and rev it up to see if oil is comming out from the pump.

Thanks guys, after looking at the lines closely. Indeed there is a oil in the lines, just a very faint yellow. I put in premix just to be safe of course.
