Oil Metering Pump mod
has anyone bought one of theo oil metering pump mods for like $90 that allows you to disconnect it form the normal oil source and a add a 2-stroke resivior? I have seen many posts regarding pre-mixing, and understand that would be a good idea. the OMP mod seems a good idea , since it would be more convenient; fill the gas tank with gas, and a a 2-stroke oil tank with oil.
If anyone has done this, where did you mount the new oil tank, and what parts were nescassarry? If you can post a pic, that would be great to.
on another topic, I live IN MN, and yesterday was really nice, so I figured I'd take out the FD for a drive to my friend's and stay the night there. well I woke up today to find my poor FD had become a snow bank, andam now stuck here until it clears. Plus I'll have to slosh through salt and sand!!! we're expected to get 12"!!! Dammit!!!
