Electrical problems since reverse of the jumper cables

I was working on my car with a friend and the light in the garage burned out but we still had some day light and when we were trying to jump start it he connected the cables backwards on his end and turn the cables bright red and sparked. Ever since then i noticed that my dash lights didn't come on, no speedo, no tach, no ashtrey light, and not even check engine light but my head lights still come on and go up and all that. And i thought i migh tof lfooded it and now i relize i'm not getting any spark or fuel spaying into the chambers? Blown a fuse? any ideas which ones? Where they are all all the good stuff.
Any help would be great.

Thanks

~Luke

The same thing happened to me, but it happened after I removed the speedo console, and put it back... Hmmmmm.. Haven't had time to look for the fuse yet.

It's the fuse. I was doing some wiring in the car and shorted something to do with the lights. Check the fuse block and I'm pretty sure you'll find it's blown. THe fuse block you're worried about is in the drivers footwell.

either you guys are really lazy or your fuse box covers are missing(they have all that usefull information written on the cover).
In any case, the fuse box is by your left foot check that first.
I do not know the possition or the rating off the top of my head. sorry.

well i replaced all the fuses in the box next to the clutch pedal and still no power inside execpt windows and sun roof. I fould out the main curcit relay fuse (120amp) was blown. Would that still cause it not to light up anything or work the fuel system? thanks
