Oil level sensor
I did a search and couldn't find my answer. I got my oil changed today and my mechanic said what the hell is this. There was a wire connector hanging off my oil pan. I read the workshop manual and found it to be the oil level sensor. My question is......Where does it plug in at?(the opposite end of the oil pan) I may just be blind but I don't see it. Thanks for any help

you wont see a plug...
I'm assuming the thing hanging from ur oil pan is a female connector, anyways. What your looking for if your underneath ur car (top of your head pointing towards the rear of the car) is on the left side of the block. it should be towards the middle/lower area of the block. Its a round thing with a male connector coming out of it, its skinny and small and you might not notice it if u dont know what your looking for. Just slide the part u found, onto the little metal part and wala ur good, but it still might **** up... My oil meter sensor is f'ed and I'm replacing it w/ an aftermarket one, I advise you do the same and while ur at it.. if u have the resources, get a water temp sensor too.
