Hey guys. I need your help, i just restarted the fd project afyer five years. The motor is in all the accessories are on, but i just realized that the wire of my oil level sensor is cut, and i cannot remember where it goes and with the motor in i cannot see much.
does someone as a picture of where this wire plug or a plan of where it goes.
thanks to every body who’ll take the time to answer.
( picture of the actual wire cut coming of the oil pan )
It should connect on the charging/starter harness. Single wire black connector with yellow insert I believe. Also, not entirely necessary to have especially if you have no OMP. All the level sensors I have have broken wires so I just block them off anyway.
Absolutely not needed at all. Just cut the wire off and forget about it. The connector type we typically see on them though is a white 2 pin oval plug. Although its only a single wire, it uses a 2 pin connector. It would be advised to not worry about it though.
