rebuild or replace... or you could just let them go to **** and leak oil all over your engine bay, the choice is up to you

Step 1: Figure out exactly where the leak is coming from.

The turbos have oil lines. These lines have gaskets which can fail after a while. Most people only need to replace the gaskets on the oil lines.

Couple things:

1. Where is the leak coming from? The turbos can leak from the oil feed lines on top or return lines on the bottom. Replace the gaskets/crush washers for both.

2. The turbos themselves can push oil when the start to go bad. Check for play in the shaft. Check for excessive oil in the intake tract. Some is normal.

3. A clogged or defective pcv valve can cause the turbos to push oil. Replace it.

Looks like the compressor seal. Make sure its not the oil return line right next to it. You will probably need to replace the turbos.

Yes but its usually a crap shoot and not worth it. The stock turbos are junk when it comes to rebuilding. Talk to Brian and bnrsupercars.com and tell him I refered you.

Sorry for drifting off topic but where did you get such a detailed, clean picture of the stock twin turbos? Got any more bigger pictures like that?
