Oil leaking at seal before turbo

Ok guys, did a quick search but didn't have a lot of time because I have to go to work at the pharmacy here in a minute. Oil seems to be leaking right at the seal where the pipe leading from the y-pipe connects to the turbos. Smokes a bit after stopping. Normal small amount of smoke at startup, but at wide open throttle it'll spew a bit of smoke out the exhaust, and when I leave it running to cool down the turbos after stopping. Boost pattern is fine, pulls excellent. I'm almost thinking it might be the seal there or possibly my turbos may be fubar'd, they run just fine and all. Main reason I think it is a seal is because a low whistle/whine (not turbos spooling) that is being emitted from 1000 rpm and up, and builds in intensity as rpms increase. Sorry for the long post guys just wanted to give you all the details. Thanks
Jeff

My first thought would be your turbo's are leaking oil... That's the first thing you check when a turbo charged engine is burning oil. How old are your turbo's?

not exactly sure on the turbos. Engine was just replaced 30k miles ago. Bought it from a lotus dealership in Holland, Michigan. After closer inspection it looks like where the y-pipe connects to the turbos. Is there a seal there that I could possibly replace to fix this? Thanks

Sounds like you're describing the Y-Pipe flange metal gasket which seals/mates to the Turbo Compressor housing which is attached by two 10mm nuts?? If so, any significant amount of oil (leak)will probably be leaking from the O-Ring and/or the small Plate Seal . Both are located on the Compressor side of the Turbo.

My turbos starting leaking oil when they got old (10 years/65k miles) and the oil was leaking out at the y pipe connection. I just tightened it up. But that just meant the oil was leaking and blowing into the intercooler.

Not what I needed to hear lol. So pretty much time for some turbo rebuilding.
