oil leak out of filler neck?

finally got the FD running again and i noticed the bottom nipple on my filler neck was open, so i plugged it and what do you know the oil leak stopped. but then of course it being an FD something else went wrong by plugging it it caused the car to smoke very bad due to it burning the oil so now i have to pick between a oil spot in the garage or a car that smokes so bad i cant see behind me what have you guys done to address this issue, or has anyone had this problem?

also the other nipple has the line running to the UMI where it should go i dont know what to do at this point.

run a piece of silicone hose from the bottom nipple to a catch can and vent the other nipple of the catch can. You need to depressurize your oil system.

But, there definitely shouldnt be oil leaking/smoking that badly. If you're single turbo you may need a restrictor pill on your oil feed line where it connects to the CHRA.

Look for a hose that was connected to that nipple. I'll bet the oil is still blowing out that hose. If you have that hose, reconnect it to the nipple on the neck rather than cap it.
