Oil leak - Oil filter area

Ok, so as the title says, i've got a pretty bad oil leak. It is coming from the oil filter area. I replaced the oil filter, and double checked the filter neck(housing). Everything was tight. It sits at Idle with no probs. But when I rev the car around 5-6k rpms, I get oil coming from around that area. I took off the UIM, coil packs, and filler neck, and it is only wet on the DS. But it is all over the block on that side??? I'm not really sure where the leak is coming from. Cuz the only thing that has to do with oil around that area is the oil filler neck, oil filter, oil filter neck/housing, oil cooler line, and the oil pressure sending unit. It is not the filler neck, and not the filter. And if it was the OPSU, I would think it wouldn't be able to make it all the way on top of the block??? So that leaves the oil filter neck/housing, and the oil cooler line. And there is no leaks on the oil line, and the neck/housing doesn't look cracked or anything. There is no oil on the bottom of the UIM, so where the hell is it coming from.

It makes a pretty damn big mess if I run the car. Cuz that is how I originally found the leak. It is really pissing me off. If anyone has had a similar prob, any info would be much appreciated. LMK what you guys think.

The oil filler neck comes off in 2 pieces. An o-ring is between those two. The two 10mm bolts on mine loosened and dumped oil all over the place at an auto x. Scared me shitless. I limped her home, constantly checking the oil. Pressure had to get high for it to come upstream enough to pour out at that junction. It didn't leak at all on the way home. I had a small leak I could never find and that turned out to be it. It had to get worse for me to spot it.

See that is what I though as well. But those bolts were tight as hell! Maybe i'll take it off and see if that O-ring blew or something??? Thanks man.

can also be a cracked rear iron, harline cracks may not leak much if at all at idle but leak quite a bit with some pressure. detonation under hard boosting is what kills the rear iron, i hope for your sake this isn't the problem.

The oil filter pedestal has 2 o-rings under it, that are well known for failing. It is held on by two 10mm nuts.

Thanks fellas. I was afraid of the rear iron! I hope it is not the problem. I'll post in a bit with the O-rings. Thanks for your time guys,
Travis
