oil leak

wondering if there are any common oil leaks on fd3's as mine has oil running down the edge of the gearbox and dripping on the subframe.its not a big leak,i clean it up as much as i can and a few weeks later there will be a few drops on my drive. It seems to be coming down around where the turbo return pipe goes into the block.i thought it was coming from the return pipe but have replaced the gaskets and the pipe is fine so it must be somewher a bit higher than that...any ideas?

Oil pan leaks and Front Cover leaks are common in FDs. i'm in the process of fixing my front cover leak. It's fairly easy if you pull the engine.

Did you replace the gaskets on both return pipes at both ends? There are a total of four gaskets that conceivably could be involved. If so, check the oil feed line banjo fittings on the "top" side (more around on passenger side) of the turbos and at the main feed coupling beneath the air pump.

Yes, there is one where the return line attaches to the turbos and one where it attaches the block.
