oil leak = smoke?

ok I jsut picked up a 95 FD on the second or thid day i had it i noticed it started

smoking from the turbo side of the engien bay, I furthen inveistigated to learn

there is some oil leakage in the turbo arrea underneath the intakes and such , i

was wondering what are the possibilities of this oil leak and is it deadly for my

motor? i know it could be my turbo seals but what ele is possible in this area ?

thanks for any advice

yeah most likely it's a turbo seal or the oil feed/return line, there's not much around that area up top.

just keep the oil level in check, if it drops drastically they you shouldn't drive it..
either way, get it fixed asap before further problems occur

Most likely it is your secondary turbo ( the one closest to the firewall)...

This turbo has a tendencey to leak for some reason, on all my FD's when I was sequential, this turbo always had a bit of oil dripping from it --- even 5k miles after a rebuild. Your engine will be okay as long as you keep an eye on the oil lvls.
