Oil in the InterCooler???

I was replacing some intercooler hosing when I noticed that I have quite a bit of oil in the lower part of my inter cooler. I then pulled my main pipe from my twin turbos and noticed a little there too, although not nearly as much. I have done a search with little help. I saw that this could be normal. How much oil in there is normal? Not sure exactly how much I have in there, but I noticed about a ½ an oz. May one oz. I did not see any (except a slight oily residue) on my throttle body plates. I do have a slight problem at higher RPM where the car falls on it’s face and puffs out blue smoke. I have been boosting low (around 7psi). I am wondering if my turbos could be going out. Also could this have been caused by compressor surge? If it were, would a larger blow off valve do the trick? And, under higher boost/rpm, could I be sucking oil into the UIM and down into the engine, hence the falls on its’ face and puffs blue smoke?
I have a single HKS blow off valve on the intake pipe right off my UIM, with a large HKS front mount, and I have a twin turbo seq. set up.

Thanks

its normal. As long as your turbo's are not smoking and not leaking (under the car), then dont worry about it.

There should be "some" oil, but not a pool of it in the bottom of the IC. An oz. isn't that much, especially if it had been collecting for a while. But "some" is normal.

See this thread for oil in the intercooler.

Ultimately, oil will end up in the vacuum chamber, at least with my KDR motor that has enlarged oil passages, and the eccentric shaft oil mod done to it.

Thanks, This scared me. I thought it was time to replace the duals with one BIG one. Darn. :-)
The stumble at higher boost/rpm must be a tuning issue. I have yet to get a widebnd or have a good shop tune it. I though it was a tuning issue, but then I saw oil and though it could be that too.

I have a few issues I still need to work out.

Thanks
