Oil Injectors / Oil Injection Lines
Has anyone ever replaced the oil injectors / oil injection lines with the engine in the car before? If so, how? I have the upper intake off the engine and the vacuum solenoids off. I can see the front injector, but the rear is still hidden (can see the front injector, but it still looks like a pain to get to). The factory lines were so brittle that they broke, now I need to replace them with some stainless steel braided lines. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, I finally get to help someone else....I just did this with the engine in the car, there are some great write ups about this, but well...I am running non-seq so I didn't have to RR the rats nest, but I did it in about 4 hours.
On day one, I:
1.Removed the strut tower brace
2.Intercooler piping on drivers side
3.Greddy Elbow
4.Throttle body
5.UIM
I took plenty of notes as to where I removed everything from, and labeled things too.
then the next day I put it all back together.
In order to get to the rear injector I had to pull the primary fuel rail and twist it, careful of the high pressure fuel lines, they don't like being twisted. After doing this I was able to get a wrench on the injector. Come to find out, the rear injector was much easier to put back in than the front. There is a crush washer on the top and the bottom of the bajo bolt on the SS line. Keeping the washer between the block and the banjo fitting proved to be a real task. I did the rear from teh driver's side and the front, well I sat on the passanger's side shock tower and cussed. But it can be done.
I cleaned the injectors while they were out, then ran the lines back the same way the stock ones came up.
Good luck, I can help answer any specific questions you have.

OK, so, there is a block on the inside (inside being the under the UIM) of the LIM, to the rear of the manifold. It has some lines and electrical connectors going to it. What is it? And how hard is it to remove? I think that it's going to need to come off before I can even get to the fuel rail. I can see the front oil injector, but think that I have to take a few more things off before I'll be able to put a wrench on it.
