Oil Filter Part # check ?

Oil Filter Part # check ?
I was changing the oil on Sunday and noticed the Filter I removed
Mazda Filter part # B6Y2-14-302 ( wich is all I've ever used )
was different then the 2 I purchased from the dealer in the Fall .
They are Part # B6Y1-14-302-9A
they are smaller in size and the drain holes are smaller I did not install the new
one yet , I called the head Parts guy at my local dealer he said it's the new #
I ask him to check the info for me He blew me off !
Still not Confortable with the new filter !
Can you guy's tell me What Mazda Filter you are using ?
(Mazda Filters only please )
